Dr. Trina Seligman
is an enthusiastic and communicative Naturopathic
Physician and Acupuncturist with a
holistic approach to general practice. She maintains a balance
between conventional medicine and naturopathic medicine
by utilizing the best of current research to draw upon the
strengths of both philosophies. Dr. Seligman treats a wide
variety of ailments, with special abilities and interests
in Women’s Health, Attention Deficit Disorder
(ADD/ADHD), Depression and Anxiety, and Internal Medicine.

Experience
Dr. Seligman graduated with a Doctorate in
Naturopathic Medicine in 1996, after completing a Bachelor
of Science from Guelph University, Canada in 1992. After a
one year residency with Dr. Jonathan Wright, and two years
in private practice with Dr. Stephen Markus, Dr. Seligman
opened Evergreen Integrative Medicine L.L.P. (EIMED) with
her business partner Dr. Geoff Lecovin. In 1999, Dr. Seligman
graduated from the acupuncture program and began to incorporate
acupuncture therapies into her practice. Dr. Seligman and
Dr. Lecovin opened Evergreen Integrative Medicine, L.L.P.,
with the goal of integrating natural medicine with conventional
therapies. Since their opening, Dr.’s Seligman and Lecovin
have worked diligently to stay on top of research in natural
medicine and to provide their patients with high quality integrative
care.
In addition to her private practice, Dr Seligman has authored
articles for Allergy Research Group (Nutricology), the Journal
of Alternative & Complementary Medicine, and Healthnotes
online (the Kiosks found in many healthfood stores), and has
published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals
(*see below). As a consultant for ReCaps, Dr Seligman designed
an entire line of high quality supplements which was sold
at Nordstrom. Dr. Seligman was a member of the Bastyr IRB
(internal review board), a committee designated to ensure
the safety of human subjects in research studies.
