Dr. Kachinskas provides health care
focused on integrating and balancing both conventional and
complementary approaches to good health. Her approach to
healing is founded on a fundamental belief in the natural
wisdom and healing power of the body and the
interconnectedness of life. She specializes in women's
health issues such as menopause as well as cancer
prevention, cancer supportive care, metabolic disorders, and
chronic illness. In addition she also has a special
interest in rider focused health care for equestrians.
Dr. Kachinskas has over 20 years of
experience in the field of obesity and cancer research, and
has worked in clinical oncology settings to facilitate the
optimal integration of evidence based complementary
treatments for cancer patients. Dr. Kachinskas has advanced
training in integrated health care for cancer patients and
cancer survivors and has completed two residencies, one at
the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and one at Swedish
Providence Breast Cancer Center in Seattle. as well as in
cancer prevention, chronic illness, and women's health.
Donna and her husband ride and live
with three horses when not playing with their dogs, cats and
parrots in Carnation.
