What is Integrative Cosmetic Rejuvenation?

Integrative Cosmetic Rejuvenation is a holistic system of therapies that integrates intramuscular stimulation, nutrition, stress management, exercise and lifestyle modification. The result is healthier looking skin and total body rejuvenation.

• Alleviates sinus congestion and headaches (except severe migraines)
• Improves hyper- and hypothyroidism
• Reduces symptoms of toothache, TMJ, trigeminal neuralgia, and Bells palsy
• Treats digestive issues
• Eliminates edema and puffiness
• Improves sleep and reduces dizziness
• Helps depression and aids self-esteem
• Improves collagen production and muscle tone
• Reduces bags, lifts drooping eyelids and reduces double chin
• Eliminates fine lines and diminishes larger wrinkles
• Improves metabolism
• Tightens pores and brightens eyes
• Increases local circulation
• Improves facial color
• Reduces stress and promotes total health and well-being

Cosmetic Intramuscular Stimulation (CIMS)
CIMS is a highly advanced form of acupuncture based on anatomy and physiology. Needles are placed perpendicular to the course of wrinkle lines in the direction of muscle fibers. Stimulation results in muscle relaxation and skin tonification. Minute injuries at needle sites create electrical changes that stimulate growth factors. This results in stronger collagen and connective tissue, leading to healthier and younger looking skin. CIMS stimulates the production of endorphins, resulting in total body relaxation and a feeling of generalized well being.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many treatments are recommended?
A typical course is two times per week for six weeks. One to two maintenance sessions are recommended every three months. Patients should come comfortably dressed wearing no makeup.

How long do results last?
Results can last indefinitely, but depend on how well a person takes care of themselves with diet, exercise, stress management and lifestyle factors.

Are there any contraindications?
Integrative cosmetic rejuvenation is an extremely safe procedure, however some contraindications include:

1.Pregnancy
2.Local infections
3.Anti-coagulants
4.Bleeding disorders
5.Cardiac pacemaker
Prior to treatment, candidates are screened to ensure that there are no other health conditions unique to them that would be negatively affected by the procedure.

Why choose Cosmetic intramuscular stimulation over a surgical face-lift?

While not a replacement for surgery, CIMS is an excellent alternative. It is far less costly than cosmetic surgery, is safe, virtually painless, and has no side effects or risk of disfigurement. Unlike surgery that may have an extended recovery period with swelling and discoloration, there is no trauma from CIMS. While Cosmetic intramuscular stimulation cannot reshape one's nose or chin, it is a more subtle rejuvenation that takes years off one's face safely and naturally while improving overall health.
